Turn the places you dream of into a deeper journey.

JUNREKI is a travel app that gathers the local ways to enjoy each part of Japan — hot springs, food, festivals, history and myths. Every place is checked against official sources. Even without a destination in mind, tell it what you'd like to do and it suggests a trip.

Coming to the App Store and Google Play.

What you can do with JUNREKI

Not just where you went — what you experienced and what you came to understand about each place.

Start from what you want to do

Write something like "hot springs and fresh sashimi" and get matching regions and trip ideas. You can also browse nine themes, from nature and history to food and onsen.

Know a place deeply

Each region comes with the ways to enjoy it that are truly local. Begin with "Start here" to see what makes the place itself.

Make a trip plan

Pick places and they become your trip plan. Go straight to official guides or booking sites for stays, routes and activities.

Our information

We check each place so you won't be disappointed on the road.

Checked with official sources

We list only what we confirmed on the official sites of shops, inns and facilities, local governments and tourism associations, and we keep the date we checked.

Well-loved food and stays

We start from places with strong reviews, then confirm the facts officially. Long-standing local favorites matter to us too.

Reviewed regularly

Hours and holidays change. Food and stays are reviewed every month; history and scenery every few months.

Rankings are never paid

Some links are ads that pay us a referral fee when you book. They are labeled "Ad", and fees never affect the order of our recommendations.
